RRC DISCUSSION SOP

A. Pre discussion steps:
1. Determination of topic and agenda
2. Review of literature
3. Invitation for contribution: with deadline date
4. Combined Research work
5. Organiser Decides date of discussion
6. Invitation for discussion ( date, time, place, details of discussion)

B. Actual discussion steps:
7. Announcement (by anchor) for starting of discussion
8. Anchor requests the organiser for welcome note
9. Presentations by contributing members (no questions in between)
10. Question - answer session ( one question at a time by a member)
11. Conclusions by all members. They can also give suggestions, alternatives, etc.
12. Final speech by the organiser (purpose & outcome of discussion)
13. Vote of thanks by the anchor and Declaration of closure of the discussion

C. Post discussion steps:
14. Dinning\feast
15. Photography

RULES:
1. All expenses should be duly recorded.
2. Minutes of discussion should be recorded.
3. Discussion should be bound to a time limit and in a definite direction.
4. Those who deviate from the topic or take too much time shall be politely asked to consider the limitations of the discussion.
5. Misbehaviour, unparliamentary terms, degrading body language, discrimination, etc. are strictly prohibited ๐Ÿšซ
6. Final draft of the discussion should be prepared and uploaded to RRC website. The draft should contain following things: durations, expenses, speeches, outcomes, procedures, photographs, etc.
